1 pound(s) mussels, washed
1 cup(s) sausage, sliced
1/4 cup(s) white wine
1 tablespoon(s) olive oil
1 cup(s) sweet yellow onion, diced
1 garlic clove, diced
1/4 cup(s) cilantro, chopped
1 malagueta pepper
1/2 teaspoon(s) tomato paste

1. In a large sauté pan, add olive oil, tomato paste, wine and onion and sauté.
2. Add malagueta and garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds, being careful not to burn the garlic.
3. Add mussels and sausage to the pan and stir once, cover with lid and cook until the mussels just begin to open. Remove the lid, add cilantro and salt, to taste. Spoon into bowls and serve with grilled ciabatta.
