Margarita Ice Cream

Yield: 8 servings
Preparation time: 20 minutes, (plus chill and churn time)

Ingredients

3 cups  V&V Supremo® Crema Supremo®, sour cream
Zest of 8 limes, minced
½ cup plus 2 Tbsp. lime juice
1 ¼ cups sugar
1/3 cup orange juice concentrate
3 Tbsp tequila

Preparation

1. Place sour cream and sugar in medium saucepan over medium heat, and whisk until sugar is dissolved about (3- 4 minutes)
2. Pour mixture into a medium bowl. Let it cool over ice, or in refrigerator.
3. Add the remaining ingredients. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. 
4. Add mixture to ice cream machine, and follow manufacturer’s instructions. Place ice cream in airtight containers, and place in freezer.
5. Can be served in small martini glasses rimmed with sugar and garnished with a lime wedge.
